Hot Studio, 585 Howard St., San Francisco, CA

The Bay Area is a hub for technology, innovation, and creative expression. What better way to celebrate our unique culture than to transform the Bay Bridge into the world's largest light sculpture!

On March 5th, the Bay Bridge will be illuminated by 25,000 LED lights attached to suspension cables, commemorating the 75th anniversary of the bridge's opening.

Leo Villareal is the renowned artist responsible for creating this monumental "Bay Lights" sculpture. Drawing inspiration from the surrounding environment—water, traffic, wind—Leo has created unique light patterns that will dance from dusk until midnight, every night, for two years. It's beauty will reach up to 50 million people in and beyond the Bay Area.

We invite you to attend a special fundraising event at our San Francisco office on Friday, February 8th, at 6:30 p.m.

  • Enjoy complimentary cocktails and light fare
  • Meet the artist himself, and other awesome folks in the design and art communities
  • Buy a light for a loved one (great Valentine's Day gift idea)
  • Support a historical living art sculpture (the largest the Bay Area has ever seen!)

Hot Studio is thrilled to sponsor this event and help Illuminate the Arts get closer to its $8 million goal. Money raised will complete and maintain the light installation. As an interactive design agency, Hot Studio recognizes this sculpture has the potential to inspire innovation and creativity on a large scale.

We look forward to seeing you here! For those who can't make it, but are still interested in donating, you may do so online. See Gift of Light for details and gift descriptions.
