Bill Fisher to Present at HTML5 Developer Conference 2013

Monday, April 1, 2013 - Wednesday, April 3, 2013
The Palace Hotel, 2 New Montgomery St., San Francisco

Though many of the most popular mobile experiences have been designed through native platforms, HTML5 web apps are becoming an increasingly viable alternative. In his upcoming talk, Web Motion: Leap Motion in a Web App, Hot Studio’s Bill Fisher will explain how to build web apps the right way in order to leverage HTML5’s most powerful features. Design, details of implementation, and performance enhancements of HTML5 will all be covered in the talk.

Bill is a Senior Design Engineer at Hot and an advocate for HTML5 apps. Experienced at all layers of the web technology stack, Bill works with project teams to create innovative user experiences that support new business strategies. He is the author of Touchy, a jQuery plugin for managing touch events across devices, and presented at Dev Conf 2012 on the subject of cross-browser touch interactions for mobile devices.

For a taste of Bill’s thoughts on HTML5 apps, head on over to Hot Labs. And peep the presentation (Part 1 and Part 2) he just gave at SXSW this past Sunday: Mobile Web Apps Suck! (But They Don’t Have To)

Registration for HTML5 Dev Conf is now open!
