Congrats to our friends at Code for America on the launch of Civic Commons, a new application marketplace that aims to democratize the vendor market for government software procurement.

Created in partnership with Civic Commons, BondArtScience, New Amsterdam Ideas, and Warecorp, the Civic Commons project was truly a team effort. Hot Studio was proud to contribute product, design, and brand strategy along the way.

We’ve admired Code for America’s mission since it launched in 2009. Organized as a fellowship program, Code for America enlists the skills of the Web industry to help foster open government initiatives and create positive social impact.
