Maria Giudice to Receive Fellows Honor at AIGA Continuum 2012

Hot loves to throw a party for a good cause. What do we love even more?
When someone else throws a party for a good cause and recognizes our founder at the same time!

AIGA’s upcoming Continuum event celebrates its 2012 Fellows—including Maria Giudice, Hot's Founder and CEO—for their contributions to the design practice and community.

As an AIGA Fellow, Maria joins the ranks of design leaders such as Doug Akagi, Principal at Alterpop and co-founder of AIGA's San Francisco chapter; Linda Hinrichs, AIGA San Francisco's first President; and Michael Cronan, who founded the design firm ::CRONAN:: with his wife Karin Hibma, also a 2012 Fellow.

What makes Continuum even sweeter for Maria and Hot Studio is that proceeds will benefit the AIGA Enrichment Scholarship Fund. Every year, three design students from each of 12 participating schools in Northern California are selected to enter. A panel of independent judges selects one final scholarship winner from each school. The fund helps these students underwrite their design education each year, and possibly go on to win their own AIGA Fellowship one day. It’s right in line with Maria’s passion for empowering and inspiring the next generation of design thinkers.

We’re so proud and excited for Maria. Come out and celebrate with us.

Friday, March 16, 2012 (6:30-10:00 p.m.)
