A Party 15 Years in the Making

On Friday night, August 3, Hot Studio held its 15th anniversary celebration at CHAMBERS eat + drink in the Tenderloin’s funky, wonderful Phoenix Hotel. Nearly 400 people turned out for the party, including one hundred Hotties, past and present.

At a company-wide meeting held earlier in the day, Founder and CEO Maria Giudice summed up the evening’s mood: “This is for all of you.”

Indeed, more than being a celebration of Hot itself, this event was a celebration of Hot’s people—the employees, clients, friends, and family that have helped build Hot these past 15 years.

Refined, but with a wild side, CHAMBERS eat + drink proved the perfect setting for the event. Guests enjoyed an outstanding menu, which included sliders, a raw bar, various grilled delicacies, and much more. Tunes were played by DJ Sol, and photographs were snapped by Anna Kuperberg.

Among the more popular amenities was the video booth, provided by Laugh Box. Guests donned outrageous get-ups and were videotaped for seven seconds; each recording was then transformed—as if by magic—into a full-color flipbook, right there on the spot. These videos document the sometimes horrifying, but mostly hilarious, results.

There was also lots of Hot swag to be had, including buttons, Hot’s infamous devil horn temporary tattoos, and a new, limited edition book chronicling the history of Hot, published especially for the event.

We laughed, we drank, and we created wonderful things together. Surrounded by faces both familiar and new, we were reminded of fifteen incredible years, and we looked forward to the next chapters in Hot’s story.
