Job Hunting Made Fun and Easy JobCoach iPhone Application Concept & Design
Lauren Still, the founder of career coaching group Buoyant Life, had a vision: an iPhone app to motivate and organize job seekers. In addition to helping people, this application would help codify Buoyant Life’s unique coaching approach, and provide leads for a diverse group of motivated job seekers.
Translating career coaches’ expertise into a solid design
We had to figure out how to deliver the benefits of a personal career coach via an iPhone. Buoyant Life’s coaches had a wealth of useful content and knowledge about job seekers’ mindsets, so we collaborated with them on translating their know-how into a friendly, functional, and easily marketable application. We looked for opportunities to help our target audiences via easily manageable tasks they could “accept” on the go. We also wanted to deliver a complete solution so, along with the finished JobCoach app, we created a marketing site touting its features and benefits.
An elegant, easy-to-use iPhone app
The new JobCoach app has a clean, elegant, easy-to-use design that leverages and complements the unique interface of the iPhone. With help from our development partner WebEnertia, we delivered an application that provides digestible “2-minute To-Dos” to guide users through their personal job-seeking adventures.
