An easy way to navigate among tons of content
AppExchange was a victim of its own success. It got too big, too fast—with hundreds upon hundreds of apps made available—and the site’s architecture couldn’t handle the load. As a consequence, the site became difficult to navigate.

Hot saw a way for users to optimize the growing mass of applications. If the apps could be easily searched, sorted, rated, and compared, people could consistently and confidently find the best apps for their needs. We leveraged everything from personas, ethnography, and user research to content and product strategy to design a seamless experience.

Designing a complete marketplace
With the new site, Salesforce has become a complete marketplace for cloud computing. Users can quickly and intelligently navigate the ever-growing number of applications, and get the tools they need to complement Salesforce’s capabilities.
